Floyd Total Security is a privately held company founded in 1945 by a returning WWII veteran, Floyd E. Bachman. Originally located at Seventh and Hennepin in downtown Minneapolis, Floyd provided quality services, and the company’s business gained a solid reputation.
In 1953 Floyd Bachman got married and moved to Arizona. At that time Jean and Chuck Karch bought the business which had relocated to 820 Hennepin Avenue. Under Jean’s leadership, the company expanded beyond traditional locksmith products and services into electronic security solutions. Their son Mike is our CEO today. Floyd Total Security continues building upon its rich history of serving the community for over sixty years.
